HookEye is BillEye.ai's anti-phishing engine, letting you instantly check suspicious messages and links received across any communication channel or social network, such as SMS, WhatsApp, email, TikTok and more. Forward the message or link to the system, and HookEye runs a real-time, multi-layer analysis on it: inspecting the address structure, identifying URL-shortening services and suspicious redirect hubs, tracing the actual redirect chain, and cross-referencing the findings against external sources and well-known security services on the web. The system also performs an AI-based risk assessment that examines the content of the message itself, and incorporates statistical analysis based on crowd wisdom: patterns that recur across many checks over time, strengthening or weakening the level of suspicion toward a given link or message.
